Hey man, you seem to have a pretty good handle on this rig I'm using a Stealth with Traktor Pro 2 I have a custom MIDI map where I changed the controls for G#4,A4,A#4,B4 but the LED's won't turn on when pressed. I don't really get how to get them to work by using the Controller Manager in Traktor could you provide a step by step tutorial? The internet is surprisingly mute on how to do this

AMEN RICK!! Knowing these few vital steps or what we called them back East BOOTH RULES can be the diceerfnfe of a Rocking' Night and a Nightmare! I think it is important if possible to practice before hand with a certain Dj you might be playing with or at least check them out at a different party they might be spinning, especially if you are a new Dj this will allow you to know the style your fellow Dj partner plays, Knowing another Dj's style will better prepare you for the night ahead! And most important as Rick mentioned always bring your own records, needles, mats etc! Some Dj's beat on there gear, some take pride and care deeply for there gear -If you take care or your gear and use your own gear you don't have to worry about your partners needles failing during your set or sharing ..headphone sweat .Dj-Trixx =)
I want to start with the statement that I am besiad based on my current career path, but I am wary of stereotyping consultants. I have seen consultants that were used as a tool of management to tell the company that the boss is right, however, in my current position, I see a big problem coming from the lack of management and staff to support the changes that consultants are trying to lead (lead, not force). It often seems almost like sabotage along the thought lines of if they (consultants) can make the process better in a short time, and I couldn't in 10 years, they're going to make me look bad. Consultants, just like any software package, new machine, or process, should be installed with a specific focus in mind before they are ever used/hired. With that specific focus it will make the results much easier to evaluate, did the new purchase meet the desired result? if not, PDCA again.
Pioneer are making it worse!Today its esaier to learn to DJ then ever As?? the equipment today is tailor made for almost any tom dick harry as its Familiar to operating to a tape to learn DJing. There is nothing wrong with using CDJ's but GREAT DJs who now use CDJ's had to learn to DJing using Vinyl!) It was difficult to learn those days As Vinyl wasn't Familiar to playing tape. With contacts, whether Your Good or Shit. You will spin at club then a Great DJ who wants to deserves to get paid.
